Summary
A UK based publicly funded organisation working in the area of gender equality is seeking partners to address the SiS-2010-2.1.1-1. This topic intends to implement structural change in organisations through gender aware management. The project is seeking partners from science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) based research institutes and universities primarily from Southern and Eastern Europe.
Full description
The objective of this Science in Society topic is to "raise awareness and directly involve the main actors, essentially private and public research and higher education institutions, in the promotion of better employment practises and workplace culture, to integrate equality and diversity".
The 2008 work programme addressed the identification and analysis of European best practise and gender management. The 2010 call intends to support actions to implement the change. Several research organisations will cooperate on common actions to implement the best organisational approaches resulting in an increase in the participation and career advancement of women researchers.
The project is seeking research institutes and universities from science, technology, engineering and mathematics subject areas(STEM) to fill vacant places in the consortium. Organisations from Southern and Eastern Europe are particularly sought after as this will add balance to the consortium participants.
