SRC’10 is part of the actions undertaken in the FP7 European Research programme, aiming at the development of knowledge and new technologies to improve the security of European citizens while enforcing the competitiveness of Europe’s economy. Therefore SRC’10 aims at facilitating the dialogue between research and innovation actors, policy makers and end users.

SRC’10 will showcase the importance of security research for citizens in view of the research agenda beyond FP7 and the 2010 perspective. Leading experts will give their view on the consequences and opportunities for security research following the Lisbon Treaty and facing new global security challenges.

Special attention will be given to presentations of successful FP7 projects in the diverse security fields, involving in particular users and SME’s.

This three hour session from 10.30am - 1.30pm will focus on the topic of customs warehousing - from the different types of warehouses that exist to procedures that must be followed and the different ways in which goods can enter or leave customs warehouses in the UK.

What is a brokerage event?

EU-China Partnership in Aalborg on 6-8 September  2010 is a matchmaking event based on series of short meetings with the purpose of introducing companies to potential business partners.
